Ohio
schools can apply for funding through different types of grants:
-
Development Grants – provide a $3,000
grant to involve all stakeholders in the development of
a comprehensive plan to implement service-learning.
- Implementation
Grants - $15,000 grants to begin implementing well
thought-out plans.
- Model
Grants – are $30,000 grants. Schools apply
for a model grant once they have the capacity to provide
leadership and expertise in the field of service-learning.
Successful grantees must provide evidence of quality integration
of service-learning into the academic curriculum and expansion
of their program, and must have the capacity to provide
training and technical assistance statewide.

* Applications for the Learn & Serve Ohio are due the
last Friday of April by 5:00 pm every year.
