RULH Elementary first grade students of Mrs. Aimee Carpenter, Miss Mary Edenfield, Mrs. Lisa Moran, and Mrs. Kelly Saelens, visited Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on December 15th. Students presented residents with handmade winter crafts to celebrate the holiday season. This trip and supplies for the activity were provided by the Learn and Serve America grant (Kristi Scott - grant coordinator). Students enjoyed spending the morning with residents and were treated to candy canes by the staff. Thanks to OVM for allowing the students an opportunity to visit!
