Middle School FCCLA Celebrates Christmas at the Ohio

Twenty-two
students and four chaperones helped spread holiday cheer December
4 at the Ohio Veteran’s Home in Georgetown. Students began
their visit by caroling for the residents. After caroling, students
decorated doors with packages and name tags, distributed Christmas
stockings filled with candy, and conducted the monthly BINGO
game. Residents won stuffed animals and Christmas treats. Members
visiting this month included Kaleigh Eastwood, Courtney Plymesser,
Olivia Kendrick, Lexie Wallingford, Laken Wallingford, Emily
Patrick, Heather Anderson, Brianna Payne, Jessica Garrison,
Kody Gilkerson, Chelsea Himes, Austin Finley, Bryce Hill, Tyler
Planck, Jamie Skinner, Deven Dunseith, Patrick Taylor, Jess
Music, Kimy Fizer, Bethany Thomas, Kelsey Darnell, Jessica Anderson.
Druann Kendrick, Barbie Plymesser, Patricia Skaggs, and Brenda
Nie assisted the group. Ripley FCCLA wishes to thank Kristi
Scott and Learn and Serve for providing funding for this Community
Service project.
