Perianne Germann , Georgetown

Joey Howell, a member of the Georgetown Jr.-Sr. High School Learn and Serve Achievers, selected as his special project this year’s junior high marketing program. He works with junior high students as part of teacher Mrs. Knuckles efforts to improve the students’ math skills. The marketing program is conducted during study lab. Joey’s primary community “volunteer site” is at the elementary school. He is responsible for assisting elementary children with guidance from his elementary teacher-supervisor, Mrs. Robin Shofner.

Joey is one of thirty seniors in the Learn and Serve Ohio program at Georgetown and is required to accomplish a minimum of 120 volunteer hours.
